Travel Team Tryouts 6/4/11 and 6/11/11
Mark your calendars for Fall 2011 Soccer Tryouts! The first round of tryouts is Saturday, 6/4; the second (and final) is Saturday, 6/11. Here is the schedule:
- Ages 6 to 10 (U10 and U11 teams) try out from 9-10:30
- Ages 11 to 13 (U12, U13 and U14 teams) try out from 10:30-12
- NOTE: U10 GIRLS will have only one day of tryouts - 6/11 from 9:00-10:30
The place is Starr Garden at 6th and Lombard Streets. Please bring a soccer ball and water and wear cleats and shin guards. Print and bring along this form to speed up your child's registration: tryout form

After Tryouts, What Happens Next?

Coaches will evaluate each player.

An email will be sent by 6/23 indicating whether your child is being offered a spot on a team (about a week after makeup tryouts)

Respond, by email, no later than 6/29 as to whether your child will be accepting that spot.

Your registration fee pays for a uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) and your child’s share of registration and umpire fees for the season. You are responsible for shin guards, cleats, and a soccer ball.

Completed forms and registration fee are due no later than 7/6 (to avoid a $25 late fee). Send forms to:

It is very important to stick to the above timeline, as it coincides with league registration deadlines.

Failure to do so can result in your child’s spot being offered to another player.

Practices will start in August; you will be contacted prior to that re: specific days, times and location.
