Who We Are

Palumbo Soccer Club is a small, independent youth soccer club located in Center City Philadelphia. We offer co-ed travel soccer teams (the Palumbo Panthers) in the Under 8 through Under 16 age groups. Our teams play in the Philadelphia Department of Recreation League (PDR), the United Junior Soccer League (UJSL) and the Northeast Racquet Club (NERC) Arena League.

Our Fall outdoor program runs from August through December. Our Winter indoor program runs from January through March. Our Spring program runs from mid-March to June.

For our youngest soccer players, ages 6-9, Palmbo offers an intramural program during the Fall. Players practice basic soccer skills on Saturday mornings from late September into November.

Practices and home games for the U-10 and younger teams are held at Palumbo Recreation Center at 10th and Bainbridge. (Home games for U-11 and older are held at the Dairy Fields in Fairmount Park.) Away games are played at various locations throughout Philadelphia, primarily in the Northeast section of the city.

Registration Night

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Fall Tryouts! If you will be registering for a Fall travel team, you are invited to come to Registration Night. It will be held at Palumbo Rec Center, 10th and Fitzwater Streets, on Monday, 6/4 from 6:00-8:00pm. We will collect your forms and payment as well as answer any questions you may have about the program. (Alternatively, you can mail in your registration information; just pay attention to deadlines.)
